Morgan Levine

Computational scientist and entrepreneur

Morgan Levine, PhD is a computational scientist and entrepreneur working at the intersection of AI and biology. She is a leading researcher in the biology of aging and the developer of widely used approaches for quantifying biological age.

Previously a professor at Yale School of Medicine and VP of Computation at Altos Labs, her work has focused on using machine learning to model how molecular changes propagate across cells, tissues, organs, and organisms.

Today, Morgan is building multimodal, multi-scale, multispecies world models of biology. Her goal is to move beyond narrow predictive models toward biological superintelligence and build the next generation of AI systems that can integrate the complexity of biology, reason across scales and modalities, and ultimately help us understand, predict, and engineer living systems.
